MOSCOW, February 4, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Russia and Turkmenistan will sign in the middle of February a contract on the formation of the Russo-Turkmen oil company Zarit, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Viktor Kalyuzhny disclosed to journalists on Wednesday.
According to him, the joint venture will include such Russian oil companies as Zarubezhneft, Rosneft and ITERA.
The aim of the company is the solution of the problem concerning the Caspian Sea shelf exploration, Mr. Kalyuzhny noted.
