MOSCOW, JANUARY 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and Ukraine are to prepare three draft treaties on the Azov and Black Seas and the Kerch Strait by the next round of talks scheduled to take place in the first ten days of March in Kiev. This statement was made Friday at a joint press conference of Russian and Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Ministers Viktor Kalyuzhny and Alexander Motsik, concerning the results of two-day consultations on the Azov-Kerch water area and the Black Sea.

Kalyuzhny admitted no serious discrepancy between the sides on this issue. "It will only take some time to settle economic problems in the area," said Kalyuzhny.

For his part, Alexander Motsik added that the Kiev round of talks was expected to see accomplished draft treaties on the state borders in the Azov Sea, the Kerch Strait and the division of the economic zone and continental shelf in the Black Sea.

In the opinion of the heads of the Russian and Ukrainian groups, the current round has proved to be very productive. It has been even given the unanimous "excellent" assessment, said Kalyuzhny.
