BRUSSELS, January 27, 2004 (RIA Novosti correspondent Alexander Shishlo) -- The European Union has suggested that Russia sign an agreement on partnership and co-operation with all the 10 future EU members simultaneously, say the materials summing up the EU's session on general affairs and external ties held on Monday in Brussels.

The strategy of relations with Russia was on the agenda of the meeting between the foreign ministers of the 25 current and future EU members.

The participants in the session believe that further development of partnership with Russia is a priority of the EU foreign policy. In this connection, the ministers were instructed to prepare a report on the guidelines of bilateral cooperation with the Russian Federation.
