MOSCOW, January 19 (RIA Novosti) - The fire in the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy has been put out.
The city firefighting department said on Monday that the signal about fire in the Timiryazev Academy in Dmitrovskoye Shosse, 47, was received by the officer on duty at 4:30, a.m., Moscow time.
The fire started in one of the rooms of the building on the eleventh floor. It was extinguished at 5:15 a. m., Moscow time. The area swept by fire amounted to 25 square meters. Twenty fire engines took part in firefighting operation. More than a hundred people were evacuated from the building.
An investigation group is establishing the cause of the fire.
