Today the government is considering the issues of reforming the medical insurance system.

"There is also the salary reform and some other issues that will be considered later," the Prime Minister said.

He recalled that setting priorities for 2004 the government decided along with continuing the previously launched reforms it had to attend to the most sensitive and important sphere, the social one. "It will prevail in our work," Kasyanov emphasized.

Recently the Prime Minister held a meeting with heads of the United Russia's State Duma faction that represents the majority of the parliament's lower chamber. They agreed that most of bills worked out by government and deputies would pass the so-called zero reading before being submitted to the parliament officially.
