BEIJING, January 14 (RIA Novosti correspondent Sergei Zelentsov) - Russian and Chinese Foreign Ministers Igor Ivanov and Li Zhaoxing pointed out successful development of bilateral relations at the talks in Beijing on Wednesday.
"In 2003 Russia and China achieved great successes in all spheres of cooperation," the Chinese Foreign Minister said opening the talks.
He expressed the hope that all agreements achieved by the Russian and Chinese authorities will be fulfilled in 2004.
According to the Russian ministers, he entirely shares the opinion of his Chinese counterpart.
"The May summit which confirmed the succession of strategic partnership between Moscow and Beijing was highly important for the progressive development of Russian-Chinese relations," Igor Ivanov said.
According to him, the Russian and Chinese leaders highly assessed bilateral relations in a recent telephone conversation.
