MOSCOW, January 13, 2004 (RIA Novosti) -- President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to renowned French choreographer, famous ballet dancer and laureate of the Russian State Prize for literature and arts in 2003, Rolan Peti, who has turned 80.
The president's press service has forwarded the text of the message to RIA Novosti: "You are one of the most brilliant and sought-after choreographers of the 20th century, you have composed bold and innovative performances that have taken their rightful place in the echelons of ballet history. Your unique contribution to the arts is revered in Russia, and this is reflected by the multitude of Russian admirers that delight in your talent."
