EIGHT VICTIMS OF YESSENTUKI EXPLOSION STILL IN HOSPITAL

STAVROPOL, January 5th, 2004 (RIA Novosti correspondent Valery Oliyanchuk) - Another four victims of the terrorist act near Yessentuki were discharged from hospital one of these New Year days. Eight people are still in hospital, with one of them being in a grave condition.

The terrorist act which was one of the largest in Russia in the past few years, was committed a month ago. A mine planted under a carriage of a commuter train went off, killing 47 people and wounding 160.

The criminals have not been found yet.
