MOSCOW, December 24 (Sputnik) — The multimedia group Sputnik is launching an analytical online German-language resource, de.sputniknews.com, and radio service, SNA Radio on December 24.
The new media resource will offer an alternative view of developments in Germany and will also cover global events that are often overlooked by mainstream European media outlets.
The platform is designed for German-speaking Europeans who are looking for a news resource which can offer them hard facts and a unique perspective. It will provide reliable information in one of the most widely-used European languages.
Sputnik will provide expert opinions, facts and figures (infographics) and photo galleries that need no comment.
It will utilize its rapidly-developing network of information hubs to monitor global developments around the clock, updating its site in real time. SNA Radio will broadcast in Berlin via Mega Radio and also online. The hub’s journalists and radio presenters will host live radio shows in Berlin, 12 hours a day.
Sputnik plans to focus on social and new media.
