MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Ukraine has lost up to 250 soldiers in the Krasny Liman direction over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
Over the given period, the Russian armed forces have repelled three attacks by Ukrainian troops in the Krasny Liman direction and one attack in the Zaporozhye direction.
"The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to up to 250 military personnel, a tank, two armored combat vehicles, two pickup trucks, as well as two US-made M777 artillery systems," the ministry said in a statement.

Ukraine has also lost up to 160 soldiers in the South Donetsk direction, up to 170 soldiers in the Donetsk direction, over 140 soldiers in the Zaporozhye direction and up to 125 soldiers in the Kherson direction.
Additionally, Russian air defense systems have intercepted eight Storm Shadow cruise missiles and two Neptune anti-ship missiles, the ministry added.
