MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russia fulfills its obligations under the OPEC+ deal and is not ruling out extension of its voluntary reduction of oil exports to October, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Wednesday.
"We fulfill our obligations [to OPEC] in full," Novak stressed, adding that extension of voluntary cut in oil exports to October is not ruled out.
The official did not specify the oil production data for August.

Moreover, the official did not rule out extending the voluntary cut in Russia's oil exports for October, noting that work on this issue is being carried out together with colleagues from other countries.

"We will see. We are now monitoring this situation, assessing the market, working together with our colleagues from other countries in a constant mode. I can't announce any decisions now, but we will proceed from what the market will demand," Novak told reporters, answering the question whether the voluntary cut would be extended for October.

Earlier, Russia announced that in August it would voluntarily cut oil exports by 0.5 million barrels per day in addition to the OPEC+ production cuts. Later it was decided to extend the cut for September, but only by 300 thousand barrels.
