MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The death toll following a fuel tank explosion in Haiti's northern port city of Cap-Haitien on Tuesday reached 60 and is expected to increase, the RFM Haiti radio station reported, citing the authorities.
The Nouvelliste newspaper reported earlier that approximately 50 people had been killed in the incident.
The incident took place on Monday night.
Several photos and videos, allegedly depicting the aftermath of the deadly blast were shared online by witnesses.
