RIGA, April 11 (RIA Novosti's Yuri Guralnik) - During the visit of the United States President George Bush to Riga on May 7, occupants of Riga hotels will most probably be moved to steamships and ferryboats planned to be leased, the public relations board of the Riga town council reports.

To accommodate the company of the American president 730 hotel suites are required, which is nearly all that Riga has. Simultaneously, most of the suites have been booked for the time of the visit. The Riga council has discussed the situation with the proprietors of hotels and elaborated the plan of moving the occupants of the hotels to high-class steamships to be docked in the port of Riga, and to accommodate the presidential aides in the thus vacant suites. Very soon a state order competition on the lease of steamships will be held. Lease of the temporary accommodation for hotel's guests amounting to 1.4 million dollars will be born by the state budget of Latvia.
