BISHKEK, March 26 (RIA Novosti) - The new government of Kyrgyzstan will stick to previous agreement with Russia, acting Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev said at a press conference in Bishkek.
"We shall not become estranged from Russia. This is impossible. We shall continue developing the existing links," Bakiyev stressed.
According to him, the fact that Askar Akayev can be staying in Russia will not affect bilateral relations.
