BISHKEK, March 13 (RIA Novosti, Yulia Orlova) - Observers from opposition monitoring the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan claim that election committees infringe their rights.

The Kyrgyz Coalition For Democracy and Civil Society press service told RIA Novosti that at polling stations in the University electoral district of Bishkek, where Kyrgyz president's daughter, Bermet Akayeva, is registered as one of candidates, the independent observers are not allowed to freely monitor the checking of ID papers, the issue of electoral bulletins and the marking of voters.

The observers are asked to stay in specially allocated places, a coalition source revealed.

"These illegitimate limitations are distinctively different from the procedures during the first round of elections on February 27 in this electoral district," the coalition officials note.

Independent observers have already filed complaints about violation of transparency and openness of the electoral process and the infringement of their rights.

During the second round of parliamentary elections, 1,176 observers from the Coalition For Democracy and Civil Society conduct monitoring of elections procedures at 917 polling stations in 33 out of 40 electoral districts.

In addition, more than 200 international observers, including delegations from the CIS mission, OSCE, National Democracy Institute, London International Institute of Democracy, representatives from Chinese, Russian, Japanese and the US Embassies monitor the election process.
