MOSCOW, October 18 (RIA Novosti) - On October 20 to 23 Moscow will host the NATExpo first international exposition of professional radio, TV and Internet broadcasting equipment organized by the National Association of TV and Radio Broadcasters (NAT). All in all, 150 companies from over 50 countries will participate in the exhibition.

"This exhibition is the highlight in NAT life. This is the entirely Russian project, which will help us increase our influence in the industry," President of the National Association Eduard Sagalayev said at a press conference on Monday.

According to Mikhail Ponomarev, head of the NATExpo project, Russia will host such a representative exhibition for the first time. "80% of world's IT producing brands are involved in the project," he reported.

In his words, the exhibition covers 9,000 square meters, twice as large as the most successful NAT exhibition TeleRadioBroadcastExpo held in 2003.

"We have achieved a very high level in the scale, volume and number of potential visitors," Mr. Ponomarev noted.

The 8th NAT congress "Progress of TV and Radio Broadcasting Technologies" will be running during the exhibition. Two conferences "The Progress of Technologies" and "Success Logics" will be held at the congress. They are dedicated to the introduction of digital TV and radio broadcasting technologies in Russia and the results of the last TV season.
