IRAN TRUE TO ITS PLEDGES TO IAEA: FOREIGN MINISTRY

TEHRAN, July 11 (RIA Novosti) - Iran is staying true to all its obligations to the IAEA, Hamid Reza Assefi, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, reassured the media today.

As for a uranium enrichment start, Iran, of its own free will, suspended centrifuge detail manufacture and assembly-but now has determined to resume the work. The IAEA has been notified in every detail on Iranian activities to learn and take up nuclear technologies, said the diplomat.

Late last month, Iran announced its readiness to resume the centrifuge efforts, as of June 29. However, no official statements have come to this day about the work really underway.

The resumption decision was caused by France, Germany and the UK quitting available understandings with Iran, on which Europeans were to work for the latest IAEA Board of Governors' session to seal the "Iranian file." In response, Iran was to suspend uranium enrichment work.

The European Union came up at the session, last month, with a harsh anti-Iranian draft resolution. It made Iran accuse the EU of violating its own obligations.
