According to him, this is both an economic and political issue.
"The Interior Ministry controlled the order of preparation and examination of compensation materials and found out hundreds of attempts to get payments illegally," Mr. Alkhanov noted.
In his words, the payment of compensations was temporarily stopped to prevent those who did not lose their housing during the counter-terrorist operation from getting money.
This is a much publicized problem today, he added.
"I believe the council will prevent any machinations in the process of Chechnya's recovery and building of dwelling houses, social-cultural and industrial objects," Alu Alkhanov stressed.
According to Mr. Alkhanov, if he wins the presidential elections in Chechnya he will continue the policy of Akhmad Kadyrov killed in the terrorist attack in Grozny on May 9, 2004.
