KIEV, JUNE 9 (RIA Novosti) - Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma believes that the common economic environment of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan has tremendous opportunities in store.

At the Wednesday news conference in Kiev, President Kuchma voiced conviction that the CEE member countries will move towards closer integration, developing and deepening cooperation in every direction.

"Looking at the map of Europe and our countries - Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, forming the common economic environment - I'm convinced that we will move towards a closer integration, making use of our tremendous capabilities", Kuchma said.

He stressed that, if cooperation relies on the market economy principles and "there are no seniors and juniors, we will have a very good perspective for the future".

The Ukrainian head of state once again stressed that Ukraine is for clearing obstacles for the free movement of goods, money and people within the common economic environment, as well as for the gradual transition from simple trade operations to complex technological projects.
