MOSCOW, May 30 - (RIA Novosti). Legendary Russian rock group Mashina Vremeni will celebrate its 35 years by a concert on the Red Square on May 30 night. The concert is part of the Future without AIDS Program.
Mashina Vremeni joins Elton John, The Queen, Mstislav Rostropovich, and Galina Vishnevskaya in the anti-AIDS movement and urges on everybody to think about the future, the rockers say.
The group will put up a great show on Sunday. The program, carefully selected among over 300 songs, and the scenery and light and sound and true rock-n-roll drive that has been powering the Machine (the name of the group is translated as The Time Machine - Ed.) for 35 years now will surely become a great event to remember.
The Prefect's office of Moscow's Central Administrative District told RIA Novosti that the anticipated audience could be up to 20,000.
