MOSCOW, April 12 (RIA Novosti) - A passenger train was lost in yesterday's blizzard in the Komi Republic, European Russia's northeast. It has been found now, reports Victor Beltsov, deputy chief of PR of the federal Ministry for Emergency and Calamity Relief.

Train No. 953, Vorkuta-Labytnangi route, was reported missing after it failed to come to its point of destination on schedule. A search crew found it on the Polyarny Ural-Kharota stage. According to previous erroneous information, the train was lost in the Yamal-Nentsi autonomous area.

Two locomotive wheel pairs derailed on the snow-clad track, so the train came to a standstill. Another locomotive eventually came to take the passenger cars off to the Polyarny Ural station. No one was injured or chilled in the accident, says Mr. Beltsov.
