MOSCOW, April 12 (RIA Novosti) - Russia has confirmed thinking wrongful the linkage between the adapted Conventional Forces in Europe treaty and the fulfilment of the Istanbul agreements.
"We think the linkage wrong because we have fulfilled all our CFE obligations", Russian deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Chizhov told the RIA Novosti news conference.
He recalled that NATO's present position consists in preserving the linkage.
As regards Russia-NATO mutual military-restraint obligations, Chizhov said that both the sides confirm them.
The Istanbul agreements, particularly, intend the withdrawal of the Russian military bases from Georgia and Moldova.
