MOSCOW, MARCH 29, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Violence in Kosovo will be high on the agenda of the Russia-NATO Council's ministerial session in Brussels on April 2, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced at today's Kremlin meeting of Cabinet members with President Vladimir Putin. Lavrov said Kosovo would be a thorny issue to discuss.

Another problem to be brought up for discussion will be the importance of having NATO accession states sign up to the Conventional Forces in Europe (CFE ) Treaty, Lavrov said. The alliance will have to make sure that all of its new member states join the CFE, stressed the minister.
