MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 17 (RIA Novosti correspondent Alexandra Chebanu) - The federal Central Election Commission has every reason to hope that more than a half of the franchised population will come to the polls on a presidential election of March 14. The commission will call on the voters to come to the elections, Alexander Veshnyakov, commission president, said to the media.

The commission will call on the public not to abstain, as it has been doing. That is no propaganda but mere logical reasoning. If Russians want to have a strong federal top, they must vote, he stressed.

Presidential hopefuls' posters are getting from print in plenty in every part of the country. These posters provide information about every candidate, arranged in alphabetical order, left to right - CV, declared income and rumors on the latter. Sergei Glazyev offered "slightly unreliable" information about his incomes, says Mr. Veshnyakov.
