VIENNA, November 24 (Sputnik) - French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius is currently holding bilateral talks with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier, prior to the P5+1 ministerial meeting on Iranian nuclear program, German Foreign Office said Monday.

"New round of consultations at #PalaisCoburg: FMs Steinmeier+LaurentFabius in bilateral meeting," German Foreign Office said in its twitter account.

The final round of talks on the Iranian nuclear program between Tehran and the P5+1 group of international negotiators comprising Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China and Germany began in Vienna on Tuesday. November 24 is the deadline for a deal to be made with Iran guaranteeing a peaceful nature of its nuclear program.

With the deadline approaching, the P5+1 group foreign ministers plenary meeting with Tehran is expected to take place later on Monday.

Iran's nuclear program has long been a matter of concern for the international community. The West suspects Iran of developing a nuclear weapon under the guise of a peaceful program, while Tehran argues that its nuclear development is aimed purely at meeting civilian needs.
