Under the deal, which was signed by Azerbaijani President Aliev, Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan and Russian President Putin on Tuesday, Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and will remain there for the next five years.

Sputnik Armenia released the footage of the Russian peacekeeping convoy arriving in Nagorno-Karabakh, days after the heads of state of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia signed a ceasefire agreement.

Following the talks between Ilkham Aliev, Nikol Pashinyan and Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, a deal was agreed upon, according to which Azerbaijan and Armenia would stop at their current positions, exchange prisoners and dead bodies, and also allow about 2,000 Russian peacekeepers to be deployed in the area to watch the implementation of the achieved agreements.
