Earlier this month, the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic and called on all countries to take drastic precautionary measures.

Head of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and emergency specialists are holding a press conference to share information on the COVID-19 situation and the health measures taken by countries to counter the pandemic.

Over 340,000 coronavirus cases have been confirmed globally, with over 14,700 fatalities.
