Actor Max von Sydow Dies in France at Age 90 - Reports
12:31 GMT 09.03.2020 (Updated: 12:50 GMT 09.03.2020) Max von Sydow was one of the most famous Swedish actors of all time; he appeared in European and American films, and featured in more than 100 films and TV series.
Legendary Swedish actor Max von Sydow has died at the age of 90, according to his agent Jean Diamond.
"It is with a broken heart and with infinite sadness that we have the extreme pain of announcing the departure of Max von Sydow, March 8, 2020," Jean Diamond said in a statement as quoted by the Sky News.
Sydow played one of his most famous roles in 1957 in the film "The Seventh Seal" by Ingmar Bergman - in which he played chess with Death.
