The UK and the US are working together on the North Korean crisis resolution by peaceful means, UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said Saturday.

LONDON (Sputnik) — The United Kingdom is working together with the United States and other partners on diplomatic solution to the North Korean crisis, UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said Saturday.

"We are working with the US and our partners in the region to bring this crisis to a diplomatic end," Johnson wrote on Twitter, adding that the international community stands "shoulder to shoulder in ensuring North Korea stops its aggressive acts."

Johnson added that the North Korean government was responsible for the crisis and "must fix it."

On Wednesday, North Korea announced it was considering a missile attack on the Pacific island of Guam, where US air force and naval bases are located. US President Donald Trump said on Friday, Pyongyang would "truly regret" taking any actions against Guam or any other US territory.
