UAE Minister Tells UN Al Jazeera Should to Be Closed for Promoting Extremism
BEIJING (Sputnik) — He noted that migrants tended to establish closed national communities and diasporas in the countries of their arrival all over the world, which, in turn, leads to the forming of organized criminal groups which allocate part of the revenue of their illegal activities to financing extremism and terrorism.

"Special attention must be paid to the issue of the dissemination of destructive ideologies through new information and communication technologies, which also serve as tools for carrying out extremist and terrorist actions, tools of ideological recruitment for radical structural destruction. The other factor contributing to the spread of extremist views is inadequate migration policies and measures concerning the protocols of the social adaptation of migrants," Patrushev said at the BRICS member states' national security high representatives' meeting in Beijing.

Patrushev stressed that not only the government, but civil society as a whole should put in more effort to solve the issue.

On Friday, the seventh meeting of the BRICS member states’ high representatives on national security kicked off in the capital of China, Beijing.
