MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Chilean authorities are looking into opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experience with Russia in space technologies and satellites in particular, the Chilean Vice Trade Minister and Foreign Ministry General Director of International Economic Affairs Paulina Nazal Aranda told Sputnik Thursday.
"We have a space technologies industry, which is still smaller than yours [Russian], that is why we are particularly interested in looking into Russia's experience in this area. Why not we work together on satellites using the Russian technologies?" Nazal said.
She added that the Chilean government would first look into the existing opportunities for joint work in satellite technologies, which she referred to as highly relevant.
