Turkish Company Confirms 4 Russians on Board of Crashed Helicopter Near Istanbul

Four Russian nationals were on board of the helicopter that crashed in a suburb of the Turkish city of Istanbul, the Eczacibasi company which owned the aircraft confirmed to Sputnik on Friday.

ANKARA (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day Mayor Hasan Akgun of the Buyukcekmece suburb said that five people were killed in the crash, including foreigners. Four Russians were reportedly on board of the plane.

"According to our information, four Russian nationals were on board of the plane," a spokesperson of the company said.
