"CITMA and NOAA signed today a MOU on cooperation for the exchange of information and research in weather and climate," the Embassy said in a Twitter post.
Earlier, the two nations signed a memorandum of understanding in order to transfer information of seismic activity in the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
The agreements are the latest between Washington and Havana since 2014 when US President Barack Obama and Cuban President Raul Castro announced the normalization of relations.
A Cold War-era embargo limits formal exchanges between the two nations, but a series of executive actions by Obama has reopened contacts with Cuba, including the resumption of diplomatic relations.
