BAKU (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, Rogozin held a number of meetings with Azerbaijani top officials, including the president, as part of his working visit to the Azerbaijani capital of Baku.

"[Russian] Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin announced the detailed work on the projects that are very new to the Russian-Azerbaijani collaboration. According to Rogozin, they concern Azerbaijan acquiring new technologies, new skills, which the Russian side welcomes," the press office of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev cited the Russian officials.

Earlier on Friday, Rogozin noted that the two countries found solutions for a number of complicated problems, without clarifying which issues he meant.

The deputy prime minister invited his Azerbaijani counterpart Yagub Eyubov to participate in the Russian International Energy Forum in Saint Petersburg in June 2017. Rogozin's agenda also included a meeting with the Azerbaijani side on arms export.
