The foreign ministers of NATO have voiced their concern over the humanitarian situation and renewed fighting in Syria, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Stoltenberg stated that NATO allies are deeply concerned about renewed offensive by the Syrian regime supported by Russia.

"The scale of the humanitarian catastrophe is staggering. We continue to call for a political solution including cessation of violence and resumption of humanitarian aid," he said at a press conference after the first day of the NATO foreign ministers meeting.
