    Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday sent condolences to US President Barack Obama over a deadly fire in a music club of the Californian city of Oakland, the Kremlin press service said.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The fire that according to the latest reports killed 33 people occurred in a night club in Oakland on Saturday.

    "The head of the Russian state conveyed words of sympathy and support to the family and friends of those killed, as well as wishes of speedy recovery to those injured," the Kremlin statement said.
