On Wednesday, Davydov and Kunio Mikuriya, the WCO secretary general, will sum up the session’s results at the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency’s press center.

WCO encompasses 180 Customs administrations that operate on all continents and represent different stages of economic development.

The organization’s history goes back to 1947 when the 13 European nations represented in the Committee for European Economic Cooperation agreed to create a Study Group, which considered the possibility of establishing one or more inter-European Customs Unions in accordance with the principles of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT).
