Turkish Delegates Glad to Visit Crimea Amid Thaw in Moscow-Ankara Relations
MOSCOW (Sputnik) The Turkish delegation, comprising over 20 lawmakers and business representatives as well as an adviser to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, arrived to Crimea from Moscow late on Wednesday. The delegation is expected to pay a three-day visit to the peninsula, meeting representatives of the local business community, the authorities and the Crimean Tatar minority.

"We will talk about ferry and air traffic, as well a organizing sea passenger transportation," Ruslan Balbek, a lawmaker from Crimea, told RIA Novosti.

A proposed ferry route linking Crimea's port city of Yevpatoria with Turkey across the Black Sea will be discussed, the parliamentarian added, stressing that increased transport communication would lead to more joint economic projects in the peninsula.

Russia restored the ferry service between the city of Sevastopol in Crimea and Turkey's Zonguldak in late October amid rapprochement with Turkey. There is only one ferry running between the two countries at the moment.
