    Russia, China Boost Military Ties to Jointly Battle Terrorism - Defense Minister

    The cooperation between Moscow and Beijing in military and technical sphere is dedicated to improve the prospects of bilateral potential to cope with modern challenges, such as terrorism, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Wednesday.

    BEIJING (Sputnik) — Shoigu made a statement at the meeting with Vice Chairman of China's Central Military Commission Gen. Xu Qiliang.

    "The cooperation between Russia and China in military sphere is dedicated to enhancement of the potential for tackling modern challenging and threats, first and foremost international terrorism."

    The minister added that the cooperation between the two nations also contributed to regional security and had a positive impact on strategic stability.
