LISBON (Sputnik) – The plane landed in Portugal’s capital for refuelling before the malfunction was reported. It is expected that after the plane is fixed it will head to Lima, however, it will get to Peru’s capital already after the start of the APEC summit.
Peru has been hosting APEC's all-year-round meetings that will culminate with the economic leaders' summit in Lima on November 19-20.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to attend a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit.
