ANKARA (Sputnik) – Turkey's Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar has arrived in Russia for defense cooperation talks, Turkish television reported Tuesday, citing military sources.

Akar is in Russia at his counterpart Gen. Valery Gerasimov's invitation to discuss bilateral military cooperation and regional issues, sources told Turkey's Haberturk broadcaster.
