US Coalition's Victory in Mosul 'to Come at High Humanitarian Cost'
DAMASCUS (Sputnik) The United Nation and other international organizations around the world have only contributed with 20 percent of the overall humanitarian aid that is being distributed in Syria, which barely covers 50 percent of the needs, the Syrian national reconciliation minister told Sputnik.

"The UN along with humanitarian organizations and the entire world, have only contributed with 20 percent of the humanitarian aid that is being distributed in Syria, and all what is being distributed does not amount to 50 percent of the needs," Ali Haidar said.

The country's authorities bear the major responsibility for the delivery of humanitarian aid and they perform their task, he noted.
