"The impressions are very good, I would like to thank your employees, who work in Azerbaijan, for covering events in our country. The start of your agency's work in Azerbaijan is, as I believe, the result of the existing high level of trust between our countries. Because without this trust, it would be impossible," Aliyev told Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency’s Director General Dmitry Kiselev in an interview.
The president added that he regarded the agency's work as a possibility for the country to make everyone know the truth, as Azerbaijan does not have such a wide range of communication channels as Russia does.
"Through you, we can tell about our country with a wider scope, and share our views, that is why the work of your agency is very important. I am glad to see you work here. I am confident, the agency will further objectively cover the reality of our country as it does now," Aliyev continued.
