    CSTO Warns Against Unilateral Missile Defense As Threat to Global Stability

    Leaders of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member-countries adopted on Friday a statement on the impact of unilateral deployment of a global missile defense network on international security and stability.

    YEREVAN (Sputnik) — Senior officials from CSTO six member states — Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan — met on Friday in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, to adopt the bloc's security strategy until 2025 as well as a number of documents streamlining the operations within the CSTO framework.

    The CSTO members also adopted a separate statement on the Nagorny-Karabakh conflict.
