    According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control, Russia and the United States maintain occasional contacts over the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty).

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) Russia and the United States maintain occasional contacts over the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty), the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control said Friday.

    "Occasional contacts on this subject are maintained. But we have a long mutual understanding with US partners that these contacts should not be public," Mikhail Ulyanov said at a conference hosted by the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.
