India-US To Hold Second Strategic and Commercial Dialogue in Delhi on Tuesday
New Delhi (Sputnik) Residents of Delhi are used to the traffic troubles that the city witnesses during the monsoon season, which are primarily caused by water logging in the streets. However, on Monday there was another victim of the rain-induced traffic congestion, which created headlines in India.

Visiting US Secretary of State John Kerry and his convoy were stuck in massive traffic for over an hour while he was on his way to his hotel from Indira Gandhi International Airport, due to waterlogging caused by heavy rains. Kerry and other US officials are in Delhi to participate in the Second Indo-US Strategic and Commercial Dialogue.

Journalists accompanying the American delegation were quick to post the pictures and videos of the incident on social media.

Police officials declined to share the details of the incident.  A Delhi Traffic police officer, however, said that the cavalcade was not stuck but had only slowed down.
