    A Russian female killed in attack during the Bastille Day celebrations in Nice could be a Moscow resident, the Russian capital’s Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Friday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that at least one Russian citizen was killed in the deadly Nice attack and another one was injured.

    "According to preliminary data, the terror attack [in Nice] killed a Moscow resident. We are checking the information," Sobyanin wrote on his Twitter page.

    On Thursday night, a truck rammed into a large crowd that was celebrating the Bastille Day in Nice, France. At least 84 people, including children, were killed and dozens of others were injured.
