Tony Blair's 'History Will Be My Judge' Rebounds as Iraq Report Published
MOSCOW (Sputnik) Earlier in the day, Sir John Chilcot said that the UK government at the time of the invasion had failed to assess risks associated with the decision and that the post-conflict security planning was inadequate.

"I will take full responsibility for any mistakes without exception or excuse," Blair said in a statement on his website.

He said that he would pay tribute to UK armed forces and expressed regret over the "loss of life and the grief it has caused the families."

"The report does make real and material criticisms of preparation, planning, process and of the relationship with the United States," he added.
