MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Libyan authorities earlier said they had intercepted Beliz-flagged Temeteron oil tanker loaded with 5,227 metric tons of illicit diesel fuel some 11 miles off Abu Kamash district.
"The embassy staff, which is temporarily based in Tunis, is trying to quickly clarify the circumstances of the incident," the ministry said in a statement.
According to the ministry, the crew of the vessel consists of five Russians, as well as several Ukrainian and Greek nationals.
