MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Geopolitical tensions and growing terrorism have a negative impact on the entire system of international relations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) said in their final declaration.
"The rapidly-changing situation in the world is characterized by geopolitical tensions, increasing incidence of terrorism, separatism and extremism impact negatively the whole system of international relations," the Tashkent declaration read.
The parties stressed that such issues are a threat for the whole world.
"The Member States emphasize that the international terrorism and extremism, including religious and other manifestations of it, are now equally a growing threat to all countries of the world and human civilization as a whole," it read.
They also expressed their concerns over the possibility of weapons of mass destruction falling into the hands of terrorists.
